The World Sheep & Wool Congress scheduled for April 7-9, in Sydney, Australia has been cancelled due to a lack of registrations.

Connecticut Sheep Breeders Association‘s annual Sheep, Wool, and Fiber Festival at the Tolland Agricultural Center in Vernon, CT from 9am to 4pm rain or shine. 

The CSBA Sheep, Wool, and Fiber Festival is a delightful agricultural and learning experience for the general public as well as shepherds and fiber enthusiasts.  Exhibits and activities include: Sheep exhibits, shearing demonstrations, venders, fleece sales, educational lectures, ox cart rides, wool skirting, a sheep dog trial, fleece to shawl contests, kids corner, knitting instruction, ask the vet, food, lamb cooking demonstrations, festival logo shirts, music and fun!  Admission is free except for small parking fee.  More information can be obtained at www.ctsheep.com.
